The Matcha Index earns money in one way: affiliate commissions. Some links to retailers on this site are affiliate links, and if you buy through them we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
Three commitments, so you know exactly where the line is:
- No brand pays for placement. No brand has paid to appear, rank higher, or be recommended on this site, and none has reviewed an article before publication.
- The data covers everything, not a selection. Our price statistics include every product in each covered brand’s store feed — including products we earn nothing from and products the data makes look expensive.
- Recommendations follow the data. Where we recommend products, the reasoning (price per gram, disclosure quality, buyer-review analysis) is shown in the article so you can disagree with it.
